Diagnosed and Still Optimistic
Posted on Sep 09, 2008 under Health |Today I’ve been diagnosed with allergic rhinitis. It sounds terrible, but I can assure you it doesn’t hurt that much. I was a bit depressed in the beginning, when the doctor told me the news, but after a while, especially after he explained me what does this mean and how I can continue living my normal life with only a few precaution measures, I felt much better. Unfortunately I’ll have to give up one of my passions, gardening. Exposing myself to pollens is very dangerous, because my allergy can turn into anaphylaxis over night and get me killed by suffocation. Did I scare you? I’m sorry, I just wanted you to know that today I gave up gardening for good. Maybe I’ll start fishing.
